A new tradition will start on January 29th with the play “Princis un ubaga zēns” (The Prince and the Pauper)

The National Theater of Latvia, airline airBaltic, the Children Fund of Latvia and palīdzē starts a new tradition giving the possibility to children from different parts and schools of Latvia to attend the plays of the National Theater of Latvia. On January 29th the play of the National theater of Latvia “The Prince and the pauper” will watch 60 children from the special boarding school in Raiskums and children from Preiļi district- from families in different difficult situations, as well as the gifted and successful children.


The National Theater of Latvia is always with pure hearth warmth taking part and working in the area that is called charity. “I would not like to call it charity, rather- the possibility giving- many from the children who will visit the theater thanks to the cooperation of all organizations will be here for the 1st time in their lives. We believe and wish that this visit of the theater open them a new world and gave new sensations!” said the director of the theater Ojārs Rubenis.


“The plays of the National Theater is a big adventure for children, neither the adults stay indifferent. We are glad to be the official airline for the National Theater because this friendship allows us to give joy to the children by giving a collective gift- the play.” said Jānis Vanags, the vice president of corporative communications of airBaltic.
